Pay Range: $70k - 80k, Salary based on qualifications

Summary

We are seeking a dedicated HR Generalist to provide great care for our people.  This hands-on role will be the go-to person for recruiting, onboarding, benefits, employee relations, and compliance across our Miami operations.  As the HR Generalist, you will report directly to the CFO, who will provide direction and support while you own the day-to-day activities of Human Resources. 

What you will do

• Own full-cycle recruiting and onboarding for our hourly and salaried teams — from posting the job to welcoming a new hire on day one.
• Be the trusted, approachable point of contact for employees and supervisors on everything from benefits questions to workplace concerns.
• Administer our benefits programs and lead open enrollment.
• Keep us compliant and up to date — employment law, required postings, employee records, and our employee handbook.
• Maintain our HR systems and records and partner with Finance on payroll accuracy.
• Coordinate performance reviews and required training across the plant.
• Help build a stronger, more connected culture across our English- and Spanish-speaking workforce.

What You Bring

• A bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field — or equivalent hands-on HR experience.
• 2-5 years of HR generalist experience; SHRM certification or affiliation
• Manufacturing, Production, Construction or plant experience is a big plus.
• Fluency in both English and Spanish, spoken and written — this is required for the role.
• Solid working knowledge of employment law (FLSA, FMLA, ADA, EEO, workers' comp).
• Comfort with HRIS/payroll systems and Microsoft Office.
• A discreet, organized, people-first approach — you build trust easily and know when to solve something yourself versus loop in leadership.
• Willingness to be present on the plant floor, not just behind a desk.
